This week in Reading, we read the story “Animal Babies in Grasslands” and discussed what special animals live in the grasslands. Our letter of the week was Pp and we had as in pig! We continued working with blending, segmenting, and initial and final sounds. We also talked about the main idea of a story.  In Math, we began working with ordering numbers 0-5 and discussing more, fewer, and the same.

Next week, we will be reading the story “Bear Snores On” and discussing what a bear does in the winter. Our letter of the week will be Cc! In Math, we will continue to compare and order numbers 0-5.
