Over the last few days, we have had a lot of fun getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday!  We learned about the Pilgrims and their long, hard journey to America.  We learned about the Native Americans and how they helped the Pilgrims when they arrived in America. We talked about what it truly means to be thankful and discussed who/what we are thankful for. We made Native American vests and headbands, made necklaces out of pasta, and wrote about giving thanks.  We also took a trip to fourth grade to watch Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving with our reading buddies!
