This week we finished reading the story “Farfallina and Marcel” and talked about what happens when animals change. We reviewed the letter Ff and discussed plot (what happens at the beginning, middle, and end of a story). We took a close look at caterpillars and the changes that they undergo to become a butterfly. Next week, we will be reading the story “Then and Now” and learning about how things we use today are different from things we used long ago.
In Math, we continued work with counting and writing numbers 11-20. Next week, we will be tested on numbers 11-20 and will then start our unit on numbers to 100.
In Science, we continued our unit on “Objects” and grouping objects based on their composition and characteristics.
