This week in Reading, we read
the story “A Bed for the Winter” and discussed what kind of home animals need. Our
letter of the week was Ii. We continued practicing syllables, rhyming, segmenting
and blending, and differentiated between realism and fantasy. In Math, we starting counting, writing, and
reading numbers 6-10.
Next week, we will be learning
all about the Pilgrims, the Native Americans, and Thanksgiving. We will be
doing some fun activities to help us learn all about the holiday.
REMINDERS:
- Please remember to send back the AR books every day with your child & fill out the November Log.
- Please be sure that your child is wearing a heavy coat to school every day, we go outside for recess!
- Wednesday, November 26th will be a half day for students. Dismissal will begin at 1:00.
Monday, November 24th, will
be day 2 and we will have library!
