Last week in Reading, we read the story “Nature Spy” and discussed what nature looks like when you look at it closely. Our letter of the week was Ss!  We continued working with syllables, rhyming, blending, and segmenting and talked about the setting of a story.  In Math, we continued working with “more than” and “fewer than.”

This week, we will be reading the story “Animal Babies in Grasslands” and discussing different animals that live in the grasslands. Our letter of the week will be Pp and we will learn about the main idea of a story. In Math, we will learn the number 0 and work on ordering numbers 0 to 5.
