This
week in Reading, we read the story “Animal Babies in Grasslands” and discussed what
special animals live in the grasslands. Our letter of the week was Pp as in
pig! We continued working with blending, segmenting, and initial and final
sounds. We also talked about the main idea of a story. In Math, we were tested on reading, writing
& counting numbers 1-5 and began working with ordering numbers 0-5. Additionally,
we have been practicing telling and making time and working with money! In
Science, we discussed what we can see in the daytime and nighttime skies!
Next
week, we will be reading the story “Bear Snores On” and discussing what a bear
does in the winter. Our letter of the week will be Cc! In Math, we will continue
to compare and order numbers 0-5 and will discuss more, fewer, and equal.
