What a fantastic week in Kindergarten!! On Thursday, we had our Kindergarten Fall Festival. Activities included a hay ride, a bounce house, fall games, leaf rubbings, pumpkin decorating, crafts, face painting, and lots of delicious treats. Thank you to all who volunteered their time to help out, it was a great day.  On Friday, we had a Pep Rally in the elementary gymnasium.

This week in Reading, we read the story “Smash! Crash!” and discussed friendship. Our letter of the week was Mm like monkey! We continued working with syllables, rhyming and blending.  In Math, we were tested on comparing and building with solid figures.

Next week, we will begin reading the story “Dig, Dig, Digging” and discuss how machines help people.  We will be learning all about the letter Tt as in turtle! In Math, we will begin our unit on reading, writing, and counting numbers 0-5.
