Last week in Reading, we read the story “Plaidypus Lost” and discussed how families cooperate. We were introduced to the letters Oo, Pp, Qq, Rr, and Ss and continued working with syllables, rhyming and first sounds. We also worked on sequencing, or putting things in order!  In Math, we practiced using our position words: inside, outside, above, below, and on.

This week, we will begin reading the story “Miss Bindergarten Takes a Field Trip” and discuss how people work together in a community.  We will be learning about the letters Tt, Uu, Vv, Ww, Xx, Yy, and Zz. In Math, we will be working with our left and right and we will be tested on our position words.
