This week in Reading, we read the story “Dig,
Dig, Digging” and discussed how machines help people. Our letter of the week
was Tt! We continued working with syllables, rhyming, blending, and segmenting. In Math, we were tested on solid shapes.
Due to Fall Festival and the half day, we
will continue reading the story “Dig, Dig, Digging” into next week and continue
learning the letter Tt. In Math, we will
start our unit on counting.
REMINDERS:
· Don’t forget that Library day is Day 2 and
your child will need to return their library book on that day!
· Please make sure that your child is dressed
appropriately for the weather. If you’d
like to keep a sweater or jacket here at school, please make sure that your
child’s name is labeled on the tag! Thank you!
