Last week in Reading,
we read the story “The Little Engine That Could” and discussed the types of work
that trains do. We learned all about the letter Vv and the plot of a story.
This week, we will be
reading the story “On the Move” and learning how people in different parts of
the world travel. We will be learning about the letter Zz! We will focus on the
main idea of a story.
Last week in Math, we
practiced decomposing numbers 11-19.
This week, we will be
tested on decomposing numbers to 19 and we will start our topic on Measurement:
Comparing length, height, weight, and capacity.
In Science, we are
continuing our chapter on Living and Nonliving Things.
