Last week in Reading,
we read the story “On the Move!” and discussed how people in different parts of
the world travel. We learned all about the letter Zz and the main idea of a
story.
This week, we will be
reading the story “This Is the Way We Go to School” and learning how children
around the world get to school. We will be learning about the letters Yy and Qq! We
will be focusing on drawing conclusions.
Last week in Math, we
practiced and were tested on decomposing numbers 11-19.
This week, we will start
our topic on Measurement: Comparing length, height, weight, and capacity.
In Science, we are finishing
up our chapter on Living and Nonliving Things.
