This week in Reading, we read the
story “Jack and the Beanstalk” and discussed real and make-believe plants. Our
letter of the week was Bb as in ball. We worked really hard on blending words and reading
new words. In Math, we worked on
counting, reading, and writing numbers up to 10.
Next week, we will be reading
“Little Panda” and talking about a panda’s first year of life. We will learn all
about the letter Nn and verbs. In Math, we will be comparing numbers 0-10 and
will be tested on Topic 3.

- · Please remember to send back the AR books every day with your child & fill out the December Log. **Monthly goal is 15 books!
- · If you haven’t already done so, please have your child complete and send back their letter to Santa. We will be sending them to the North Pole next week!
- · Please continue to practice sight words with your child every night!
- · Please be sure that your child is wearing a heavy coat, gloves, and hat to school every day, we go outside for recess!
