Have a HOPPY EASTER!!
This week in Reading, we
read the story “Abuela” and talked about adventures in the city. We learned
about the letter Ww and discussed setting.
Next week, we will be reading
the story “Max Takes the Train” and learning about transportation & different
ways of going places. We will be learning the letter Jj. We will also learn
three new words: blue, green, yellow.
In Math, we continued
our topic on Subtraction and working on finding differences using the minus
sign.
Next week, we will start
working with composing (putting two groups together) and decomposing (taking
two groups apart) numbers to 10.
REMINDERS:
- Please
continue to read at home with your child & fill out the April Log in
your child’s folder. *If he/she reads 10 or more books, they will receive
a small prize in our classroom. If he/she reads 16 books, they will be
entered in a school wide drawing to win a bicycle at the end of the year.

- Friday, April 3rd there will be no school for students!
- Wednesday,
April 8th will be Picture Day for Kindergarten Graduation. Please return
your envelope/order form before then! ***There will be no make-up
picture day! Boys will wear blue gowns with red caps – girls will wear red gowns with
blue caps!
