This week we finished our story “Little Quack.” We reviewed the
letter Rr as in River and practiced blending. In Math, we started our topic on
comparing and ordering numbers to 10. We also were tested on Topic 3 in Math
& began Topic 4: Comparing and Ordering Numbers 0-10.
On Thursday, students participated in “Brain Show Mania” in the
gymnasium. They answered questions in a game show fashion & some even left
with a prize. All students had a great time!!
Next week, we will be doing some fun activities this week to get into
the Christmas spirit. We will make a cookie plate for Santa, a snowflake, some
reindeer food, and a snowman ornament for your tree, and will do some
watercolor painting. All projects will be sent home at the end of next week! J
We will also take a trip to the high school on Tuesday
to see the high school chorus and band perform their Christmas show.
