This week in Reading, we read
the story “Bear Snores On” and discussed what special things a bear does during
winter. Our letter of the week was Cc. We continued practicing syllables,
rhyming, segmenting and blending, and differentiated between realism and
fantasy. In Math, we continued work with
ordering numbers 0-5.
Next week, we will be
reading the story “A Bed for Winter” and discussing what kind of home animals
need. Our letter of the week will be Ii and we will learn two new words – he and for. In Math, we will
be tested on ordering numbers 0-5 and we will start counting, writing, and
reading numbers 6-10.
REMINDERS:
- Please remember to send back the AR books every day with your child & fill out the November Log.
- Please send in a paint shirt – we will be painting during our next Art class.
- Please be sure that your child is wearing a heavy coat to school every day, we go outside for recess.
Monday, November 17th, will
